this cafe is run out of a beautiful old victorian home. on sunny days, the side yard is transformed into a bohemian open-air living room, with lights strung through the trees, oriental rugs strewn about the grass and mismatched vintage chairs and tables forming the seating arrangements.

the city cellar is one of portland's hottest new cafes. with indoor and outdoor seating, swanky booths, and a posh bar overlooking the gorgeous willamette river.

| PIONEER COURTHOUSE SQUARE
pioneer courthouse square is better known as town square and is rather popular, with little shops here and there. you can find bakeries, markets, hair salons and little boutiques here. although it's almost always packed with people, on some days it's quiet and the fountain in the middle is the only sound you can hear.

one of the oldest and most gorgeous victorian styled buildings in the downtown district. although it has long since been condemned, a few people still seem to find it inhabitable and it seems to be a popular place for teenagers to break into and host their parties.

as discreet as can be, the grungy back alley downtown where most junkies get, do, or deal their drugs. away from all the glitz and glamour, the alley is usually where the teens go to get their fix.
